Medicine Risk Management (Chronic Medication)

As per the Medical Schemes Act, NIMAS must provide cover for 26 specified chronic conditions, referred to as the Chronic Disease List (CDL), on all options. If you or one of your dependants suffer from a chronic condition, you must apply to the Medicine Risk Management programme to obtain approval for chronic medication.
